“Auntie Em! Auntie Em! I’m home!”
Yes, Dorothy, you are. While one of the main themes of “The Wizard of Oz” is self-sufficiency, we could not complete our courses without the help and support of some very special people outside of our department.
- Carla Minks – Marketing Director, is making magnificent efforts to promote PLS Online courses.
- Beth Eck – Copyright Administrator, researches and discovers information on the weird and wonderful copyright puzzles that we send to her.
- Michelle Gill – National Coordinator of Facilitators, does a fabulous job keeping us “in the know” about the facilitators and online courses.
I realize that my summarization of their job descriptions is a poor one. They do so much for us that it would take me much longer than a simple blog post to describe them! Be assured, though, that without their help and support we could not do our jobs to the best of our abilities. It has also been an interesting look into specifics of their jobs and how exactly they support our work (some of which I didn’t even know!).
Therefore, we thank each these three wonderful women for taking the time out of their busy schedules to write for our blog this past month. It has been an honor and a privilege.
Please, join us May 1 for a special review of TCC 2009!
